The 2016 Community Needs Assessment
Wayne Metro is continually evaluating the needs and concerns of the individual people, families, and entire communities of Wayne County. For an even deeper insight into issues impacting the lives of county residents, Wayne Metro conducts a detailed Community Assessment every three years. The information gathered is thoroughly reviewed by Wayne Metro senior leaders and staff, as well as our Board of Directors, to evaluate the effectiveness of current programs and services, and to help formulate new strategies for addressing the issues raised by citizens.
Wayne Metro will consider findings and recommendations from the community needs assessment to develop strategies that will be outlined in the next three-year Strategic Plan.
