ABOUT SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERAN FAMILIES

SSVF Case Managers will assist Veterans and their families to obtain VA or other public benefits, childcare, transportation services, mental health and substance abuse treatment, and opportunities for skill building, job training, and education. SSVF Case Managers will work closely with veteran-serving agencies and community partners to facilitate veterans accessing these services regardless of meeting eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

  • Head of household must have served on active duty in the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, or eligible Reservists who were discharged or released from their service under conditions other than dishonorable.
  • Have an annual income below 80% of the area median household income.
  • Must be literally homeless or imminently at risk of literal homelessness.

SSVF

Required Documentation

  • Proof of Service/DD214.
  • Proof of household income (employment, SSI, SSDI, pension, etc.).
  • Verification of homelessness or Judgment of Eviction/Demand for possession.
  • Dependent’s birth certificate or social security card.
  • Valid ID for other household members.
