#TeamWayneMetro is currently supporting refugee resettlement by providing temporary housing for 300+ families in addition to providing food supports of more than 450 meals, twice per day.

Most families do not have winter coats, hats, or boots to keep warm during these frigid temperatures. While Wayne Metro’s federal funding allows us to provide temporary housing and food support to these families, it DOES NOT cover basic necessities such as winter coats and boots, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, cleaning supplies, bedding and other essential items.

Your donation will go towards our SAVE THE DAY Fund, which was created to fill these critical funding gaps that federal dollars won’t cover regardless of client eligibility. Every SAVE THE DAY dollar is critical towards improving the lives of our most vulnerable residents seeking refuge.
