Wayne Metro partners with numerous organizations as part of the Out-Wayne County Continuum of Care (CoC) and the Detroit CoC. The CoCs are groups designated to coordinate housing and homelessness services in a specific geographic area. Services range from diverting families from shelter and preventing homelessness to long-term support services and housing for people with chronic conditions to temporary transitional housing for survivors of domestic violence
In addition to your generosity, Wayne Metro uses funds from a variety of funders to carry out services, including the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Molina Health Care.
Giving Tuesday is an international day of giving at the beginning of the holiday season. #GivingTuesday harnesses social media and the generosity of people around the world to bring about real change in communities.
