Wayne Metro be will accepting public comments as required by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services CSBG State Plan for Grant no. CSBG 22-82030 (Grant 22 Yr 1) on the proposed Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) plan from 8:30 A.M. September 7, 2021- until 4:30 P.M. October 7, 2021.
The CSBG Plan summary is as detailed below:
A total of $8,025,917 will be allocated for the provision of comprehensive planning and coordinated services to eligible low income persons in Wayne County, Michigan. Services will include but are not limited to housing stability, emergency utility and water assistance, minor home repair, food assistance, health and wellness, family literacy, early childhood education, youth after-school and summer enrichment services, youth/adult employment and education supports, community and economic development, and financial mobility services for the contract period of October 1, 2021 until September 30, 2022.
