Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency (Wayne Metro) is partnering with Money Smart Michigan to bring Money Smart Week to Wayne County from April 18th-25th, 2015.
Being financially responsible can help empower individuals today and in the future; Wayne Metro dedicates a whole week to educating those on how to make that hard-earned dollar go further. Money Smart Week is a public awareness campaign to promote financial education across all age groups, financial situations, and walks of life. Each event will present a different financial topic such as kids and money, unemployment, entrepreneurship, retirement, budgeting, understanding credit and more. All events are free and are welcome to all ages.
Wayne Metro will be hosting “The Power of Your Money”, featuring tax preparation services, financial education workshops and ACA health care enrollment services.
The event will be held on three dates in April:
- Thursday, April 23rd from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Taylor Human Services, 26650 Eureka Rd, Taylor MI 48180
