Join Wayne Metro as we Walk for Warmth in 2013!

17th Annual Walk for Warmth

Saturday, February 23, 2013

9:00 am – 12:00 pm Westland Shopping Center (35000 W. Warren)

The Walk for Warmth is the agency’s largest fundraising event dedicated to supporting the thousands of local families in need of emergency utility assistance during the cold winter months. Over 400 individuals will come together in 2013 to raise money, spread awareness and walk to support families truly in need of assistance.

Wayne Metro receives thousands of calls each winter and the demand for emergency utility assistance continues to rise. Without Walk for Warmth funds, families may be turned away during their greatest time of need. Families and children are counting on us – and YOU CAN HELP!

After the Walk is over, you can still support our efforts as you eat lunch at Olgas! Bring in the 2013 Walk for Warmth – Olgas Fundraising Flyer in with you on February 23rd (all day!) and a portion of your bill will support the Walk for Warmth!

1. Walk!

Come out and join us. Collect pledges using our 2013 Walk for Warmth – Pledge Sheet or Create a Customized Fundraising Page and raise pledges online. Walkers are asked for a minimum $15 donation and the first 300 walkers receive a Walk for Warmth t-shirt at the event.

2. Captain a Team of Walkers:

Gather your family, friends and co-workers to form a Walk Team. Team awards are given for youth and adult teams in 4 categories:

4. Become a Warm-A-Heart Campaign Partner:
