Head Start & Early Head Start

Wayne Metro Early Childhood programs support the well-being and development of children from birth to age five by focusing on education, nutrition, medical and health care, parent involvement, and family support services.  We work in partnership with families to build family well-being and ensure chlldren’s success in school.

Head Start / Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP)

Services for families with children ages of 3 and 5. Full-day and part-day classes are available for this program. Classes are offered Monday to Thursday from September to June.

Early Head Start

Early Head Start offers services to expecting mothers and children up to 3 years old (0-36 months). Full day classes and home visiting options are available for this program. Classes are offered Monday to Thursday year-round.
