Wayne Metro offers a variety of Food Support programs to individuals and families in Wayne County. Read below for more information about the assistance available to you!

Food Distribution Fridays

Wayne Metro hosts Friday Food Distributions alongside multiple community partners throughout Wayne County.

Items available at each distribution include, food staples and non-perishable items/dry goods, fresh produce, personal hygiene products and household cleaning supplies (while supplies last)!

Families First Virtual Marketplace

Wayne Metro has partnered with Atlas Wholesale Foods Co. to offer the families in our network easy access to food and household hygiene items through the Families First Virtual Marketplace.

Snack Wagon 1

Summer Food Service Program

Wayne Metro’s Summer Food Service Program, known as Meet Up And Eat Up and the Snack Wagon, runs June through August and is aimed at increasing food access to low-income communities during the summer months in which children aren’t receiving their typical school lunches.
