Regional Advisory Councils
Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency's Regional Advisory Councils (RACs) are advisory boards whose primary function is to ensure that the agency's programs and services are reflective of the needs within the communities that we serve. Members of Wayne Metro's five RACs are concerned citizens who are committed to making a positive impact in their community. Their voices advocate for many and their feedback and recommendations work to identify problems and find solutions to combating the causes and conditions of area poverty.
Wayne Metro's RACs focus their efforts on issues that plague our most vulnerable population; the disadvantaged. Through the Council and its members, Wayne Metro is able to reach out to those in need and provide them a full-range of services that promote self-sufficiency.
