Regional Advisory Councils (RACs)
Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency's Regional Advisory Councils (RACs) are advisory boards whose primary function is to ensure that the agency's programs and services are reflective of the needs within the communities that we serve. Members of Wayne Metro's five RACs consist of concerned citizens who are committed to making a positive impact in their community. Their voices advocate for many and their feedback and recommendations work to identify problems and find solutions to combating the causes and conditions of area poverty.
Wayne Metro's RACs focus their efforts on issues that plague our most vulnerable population; the disadvantaged. Through the Council and its members, Wayne Metro is able to reach out to those in need and provide them a full-range of services that promote self-sufficiency.

RAC II serving Redford Township, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Garden City, Plymouth, Plymouth Township, Livonia, Inkster, Northville, and Northville Township meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 12:00 pm at Kenwood Church of Christ (20200 Merriman) in Livonia. RAC III serving Huron Township, Sumpter Township, Belleville, Wayne, Van Buren Township, Westland, Canton Township, and Romulus meetings are held on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:00 pm at Wayne Metro's Region III Community Services Center (32715 Dorsey Rd.) in Westland. RAC IV serving Taylor, Gibraltar, Woodhaven, Grosse Ile, Flat Rock, Rockwood, Riverview, Trenton, and Brownstown Township meetings are held on the fourth Monday of the month at 12:00 pm at Wayne Metro's Region IV Outreach Office (26650 Eureka Rd).
