Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency offers free tax preparation services each year to low and moderate income individuals and families. Certified tax preparers and non-certified volunteers are needed during the tax season. Give back to your community through volunteerism!
Wayne Metro is providing free training to indiviiduals that wish to become a volunteer certified tax preparer. Training is free, simple and offered with the support of IRS employees. Training will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from September 29 through October 29, 2009 from 5 pm - 8 pm at Wayne Metropolitan Community Action Agency’s Wyandotte office (2121 Biddle). Participants must pass the certification test to become a volunteer certified tax preparer.
