Using the Money Smart Financial Education Program Wayne Metro helps families enhance their financial skills and create positive banking relationships. Participation in the classes helps to foster financial stability, empower individuals and families to increase savings, buy homes and improves their overall financial health and well being.  Classes are held over three days and cover the following topics.

 

Day 1Introduction to credit, loans, and borrowing money.

 

Day 2Developing a budget for your family, using credit cards wisely and learning to read your credit report.

 

Day 3Understanding banking services, protecting yourself from identity theft and saving your money for your future.

 


Classes are followed by a one-on-one session with a Financial Coach that can help you develop an individualized action plan.
